Cookie Policy

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how the K website uses cookies and similar technologies, what they do, and how visitors can control their preferences.

K is a Mediterranean lifestyle house rooted in Greek land, family and the table. Its first expression is K — Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The organisation responsible for the website is:

GREEK+VENTURES LIMITED, trading as K4EVOO and K
13 Lovell Close, Henley-on-Thames, England, RG9 1PX

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies may also store or access information on a browser or device.

Cookies can support essential website functions, remember preferences, help protect the website and, where consent has been given, provide information about how visitors use the site.

3. Categories of cookies

The K website may use the following categories.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the website to operate, provide requested functions, maintain security or store consent preferences. They do not require consent where they are genuinely necessary.

Analytics cookies

These help K understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are viewed and how people interact with the site. Analytics cookies will only be used after the visitor has given the required consent.

Marketing cookies

The Phase One website is not intended to use behavioural advertising or marketing cookies. If this changes, the policy and consent settings must be updated before those technologies are activated.

Preference cookies

These may remember choices made by a visitor where the function is not strictly necessary. They will only be used where the required consent has been given.

4. Consent management

K uses Cookiebot to provide a consent mechanism that allows visitors to:

• accept all non-essential cookies;
• reject all non-essential cookies;
• choose individual cookie categories; and
• review or change their choices later through a persistent Cookie Settings link.

Non-essential cookies must remain blocked unless and until the visitor gives valid consent.

5. Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is used as the technical container for website tags.

Its presence must not be used to bypass consent. Any tag that places or reads non-essential cookies, or processes data for analytics or marketing, must remain blocked until the appropriate consent has been given.

6. Google Analytics 4

K uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website performance and visitor behaviour after analytics consent has been given.

Google Analytics 4 is configured through Google Tag Manager and requires analytics consent. Testing confirmed that the GA4 tag does not fire when analytics consent is denied and fires only after analytics consent is granted.

The cookie declaration below identifies the cookies, providers, purposes and durations detected on the live website.

7. Current technologies

The Phase One implementation includes:

• Framer website hosting and essential platform technologies;
• Cookiebot consent-management technologies;
• Google Tag Manager as a technical container;
• Google Analytics 4 after analytics consent; and
• WhatsApp as an external contact destination.

This list should be checked again during final launch QA and whenever the website integrations change.

8. Third-party services

Some services linked from or embedded in the website may be provided by third parties. These providers may process information under their own privacy and cookie practices.

For example, when a visitor follows the WhatsApp reservation link, they leave the K website and use WhatsApp under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices.

10. How to change your choices

Visitors can change or withdraw consent at any time through the persistent Cookiebot privacy trigger available on the website.

Withdrawing consent should be as easy as giving it. Changing a preference will affect future use of non-essential cookies but may not automatically remove cookies already stored on the device. Visitors may also delete cookies through their browser settings.

11. Browser controls

Most browsers allow users to view, block or delete cookies. Browser settings vary, and blocking all cookies may affect essential website functions.

12. Consent records

K may retain a record of the consent choice made, including the categories selected and the time of the decision, where necessary to demonstrate compliance and remember preferences.

Consent records are retained through Cookiebot for the period reasonably necessary to remember preferences and demonstrate consent. The exact cookie durations are shown dynamically in the Cookie Declaration.

13. Changes to this policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated when the website, technologies, service providers or legal requirements change.

The policy must be reviewed after any material change to Cookiebot, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 or other website integrations.
